SD PROJECT:// NEWS AND UPDATES
Mystique on Fri 1st of January 2010 at 03:12 AM
Since most of the world has crossed into 2010, just sending a quick message to wish you all the best for the New Year from the staff in SD Project.May your hopes, goals and dreams be realised, may fortune and peace grace you more than hardships.
We take the good with the bad, but hey, it doesn't hurt to look forward and keep on walking.
Or as they love to say in shounen anime;
~~~~~ippo mae ni susunde, akiramenaide, tatakau! (^.^)/~~~~
On the fansubbing front, DBK continues as always and I'm working away in the background as usual, keeping low under the radar for obvious reasons, given the series that are linked to me. :p
Apologies on my end for not quite keeping up with the episodes when a series was going through its airing period in order to keep you guys entertained.
I can only aim to finish it up and batch things in the near future and so I continue to work in order to do so, my hands are currently tied with translating new and old projects for the next three months.
Speaking of which, if there are any experienced Typesetters willing to lend a hand for typesetting still images, (this includes cleaning and replacing the Japanese), do drop me a line in the recruit channel @ #SD_Recruit.
All being well, that's what 2010 will bring from my end. *fingers crossed*
This phoenix is merely taking an extended nap for the present time... ^_~
I love how almost every time the website doesn't get updated until about a week after its released... really great
anon // Tue 12th of January 2010 at 10:35 PM
@ anon: I love how some fans are really ungrateful for getting the show they want to watch >_>
@ other anon
i love how people like you always feel the need to say that same thing whenever people criticize this situation. We've all heard it before, get over yourself. Just because someone is providing a service for free doesnt mean that doing a half-assed job is justified. Takafansubs doesnt seem to have any trouble updating the site when a new episode is out. I really dont think that its asking for much at all to update the website. Why volunteer to provide a service for thousands of people, when you have no intention of at least keeping on some sort of regiment. It simply discourages other subgroups that may have been planning on doing it. my two cents
Well well, "Happy New Year" to you whiners too, missed you guys, truly. *laughs*
To keep in style of the last few posts:
"I love how" you peeps perfectly exemplify the human race by thinking of the worst of others rather than asking 'what's happened' or even possibly imagining that it's a situation out of our control at present.
"I also love" how no one noticed that the latest eps -and- another news post after this was on the website last week.
Obviously if no one commented on the missing torrents or news post, then surely, -none- of you visited us when things were up to date, just a few days ago.
(Or it could be just exemplifying the other common human trait:
People only speak up when things go wrong) ;)
But you can sure bitch about late updates of just a week when there are two other places of getting the same file...
On the other hand though, it does make me feel all warm to be berated by random peeps online as part of #SD, I really do enjoy the "leecher love" from you guys. :D
The reason being anyways (since I can't even log in to write another news post at the moment) is that the website moved home server wise and so the latest posts and torrents decided to go awol.
Off the top of my head, I was told by the webmaster that he has to copy the data from the old server to the new one for the latest stuff to reappear so we gotta wait on him.
Either way, it's a technical issue at present, so in the meantime do visit our lovely friends over at #Taka or at tokyotosho should you need your latest kamehameha fix and we'll get back to you guys as soon as we can. <3
I hate weaboos (4chan kind and anime con kind)
I hate black people (the brown kind and the negroid variety)
I hate college students (they are always so self entitled and think they deserve shit for free since thats what life has done for them so far)
So to all you black weaboo college students whining for new eps to be posted. Fuck you!
um // Thu 14th of January 2010 at 06:50 PM
so you hate Mr Popo, is that what you are saying?
anonymous // Fri 15th of January 2010 at 04:40 AM
"I love how" your pretending like this is the first time that this has happened. so unless your server has been in the process of moving for the past 3 months, im confused as to what the problem was for the other times that nothing was updated when an episode was released.
Either way, keep in mind that we still do all appreciate what your doing. If we truly didnt appreciate it, then rather then criticizing in a hope to better the situation we would just not comment at all and be angry all on our own. :)
anonymous // Fri 15th of January 2010 at 04:56 AM
p.s. i did notice that there were updates when it first came out, and then they were removed. So your explanation does make sense. My comment is only intended for the previous times without updates
anonymous // Fri 15th of January 2010 at 02:14 PM
lol the sense of entitlement is awesome. clearly we owe anon @ Fri 15th, 04:40am. He has the right to be angry for not seeing his weaboo tv show posted!!!!
How fat are you?
anon // Fri 15th of January 2010 at 06:01 PM
lol i weight 130 pounds so nice fail there... and it's pretty funny how someone who frequents this site still calls the others fat weeaboos. nice denial
Mystique (staff) // Sat 16th of January 2010 at 02:57 AM
Hai Hai, anon @ 04.56 - Sure you did notice them before, seeing as you were initially complaining about the recent ones being a week late. *rolls her eyes*
As you can see, Moof is working on the website stuffs.
While your whining is appreciated in the sense that you guys "care", so wanna keep us on our toes, please note that this is not the only place to receive the episodes, hence it's not all that critical of an issue to leave you anime-less.
And lastly, since the torrents are back, swap each email address (this aimed at the two anons) and insult each other there.
Any further spam will have -all- of your posts erased since it has nothing to do with the current newspost.
You have been warned...
