Hi guys, how you all doing lately? ^^Hope the exam season isn't dragging you down too badly and if it is, here's some Kamehameha love to pick up your flagging spirits. :D
Question:
Uhh... where are the mp4 files for episode 53 & 54 at?!
Answer:
There are none.

_____________________________________________
Just a quick note, as of episode 053 of Dragonball Kai we will no longer be providing mp4 versions of the series. Main reasons for this being:
a) It's the least popular version of our Dragonball Kai releases.
b) We've been receiving lots of emails regarding people having issues with the mp4 encodes as of late and we've been unable to find out exactly why this is occurring.
c) The encoder doesn't see the point.
Please note that this decision is final and regardless of how many idiotic emails we get complaining about this, we will not change our mind.
-------------------------------
In the case of SD, no matter how many complaints we get in the comment page of this newspost, it will not change anything.
You are more than welcome to rant, but again, it will not change anything.
Abusive posts towards the staff or others will be promptly removed, you have been warned. ^^
Feel free to try to convert the files on your own, but I'm afraid we will not be releasing .mp4 files in the near future.
Enjoy the episodes!

The problem is with your vfr encoding, this is also the reason it's nearly impossible to convert the mkv to mp4 and get the audio to sync.
It also doesn't help with the vbr. You can easily make the mp4s work by NOT using vfr and vbr.
As an encoder from way back (I was the first to use vfr, mkv, and anamorphic widescreen for dvd rips), I can tell you the solution is simple.
I'd even be willing to encode the mp4s, if given the raw, avs (without vfr), subs, and all filters.

Xvid4PsP will hardsub these into MP4 with ease if you extract the subtitles first. Mine converts without and sync problems in under 15 mins without quality loss.
